The One-Sided Battle

Since the black draconian I did was rather popular, and the lighting effects were fun to do, I decided to finish this one, which I started after the draconian pic and just never finished.

This is a mighty Black Dragon, a medium adult and just coming to power with their magickal prowess. The rather unfortunate person in front of him was attempting to traverse the black dragon's territory unscathed, likely to steal an egg from the nest of his mate for some nefarious alchemical use. He might have been successful, but... well, he wasn't. I give the mage about ten seconds before his shield fails and he gets eaten away.

The detail of the mage will be posted in my scraps, for anyone interested [though he's going to be acid fodder anyways]. I am still working on backgrounds, so I know it needs work; the rest, lemme know what can be improved.
